DEVENS, Mass. – April 2017 – Adaptive Optics Associates, Inc. (AOX), a
Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) subsidiary, will introduce
its new DynaDim™ PF1000 In-Motion Dimensional Pallet Scanner and
ImageHub™ enterprise solution, at PROMAT 2017 in Chicago, Illinois,
April 3-6, at booth S3092.
The DynaDim Dimensioner (www.northropgrumman.com/aox/DynaDim) is the
logistic industry's first in-motion travel lane dimensional scanner.
The DynaDim Dimensioner measures freight while it is being transported
by forklifts in the normal operational flow. It will enable shippers
to audit nearly all freight in Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) facilities
and accurately measure each shipment. The DynaDim Dimensioner measures
freight at +/- 1-inch accuracy while it is being transported by
forklifts traveling at speeds up to 8 mph, in normal operational flow.
The DynaDim Dimensioner empowers shippers to improve operational
planning, manage margins, cost and revenue by offering accurate,
real-time, dimensions of every shipment. The team will show video
demos of the DynaDim Dimensioner at their show booth.
AOX's ImageHub enterprise solution will enable centralized auditing of
parcels in near real-time and provides enterprise wide access to
parcel information, via a simple web interface. Paired with the
DynaDim Dimensioner, the ImageHub enterprise solution assimilates
parcel information from around the world. The information for packages
requiring further analysis is queued by the ImageHub enterprise
solution for review by inspectors located at off-site facilities.
Hundreds of inspectors can simultaneously access ImageHub enterprise
solution's database to evaluate packages.
